Based on the same sonic footprint as the DB 112, the DB 212 is a great mid sized cabinet for medium to large venues. The full sound of the 12" speakers is complimented by a birch cabinet that is tuned to have a punchy midrange.

The DB cabinets have the aggressive midrange to punch through a loud band while maintaining the full-range, musical sound that is the Aguilar signature. Employing 13 ply Baltic Birch, Custom Eminence drivers, and Aguilar's custom horn and crossover the DB cabinets have a clear, focused midrange and extended lows and highs. These cabinets are the first Aguilar cabinets to feature a classic rock look with distinctive color combinations. The DB cabinets are available with textured vinyl covering and grill cloths in the following colors: Classic Black (Black with a Silver grill cloth), Chocolate Thunder (Brown with a Black/Brown weave), Boss Tweed (Tweed with an Oxblood grill cloth), and Monster Green (Dark Green with a Black grill cloth).

Legendary bassist Jack Casady needed a portable bass cab that would reproduce the dynamics and articulation in his playing. Aguilar CEO dave Boonshoft worked closely with Jack to get just the right blend of deep bass, accurate midrange, and smooth treble. The result of their collaboration is the "Little Jack". A cabinet that is perfect for any bassist who wants big studio quality sound in a cab that is easy to get around.

This preamp/direct box is so strong and powerful it could only be called the "Tone Hammer"! Based on the respected OBP-3 preamp, the Tone Hammer features fully sweepable midrange frequencies in addition to bass and treble controls. With the Tone Hammer's pristine D.I. you are set for the studio or the stage. To give this tone shaping unit the ultimate flexibility we are introducing our proprietary Adaptive Gain Shaping circuitry (AGS). AGS allows the player to kick in an additional gain structure and EQ with the "stomp" of a button.
